Convoy for Kids Goulburn is a charity organisation, which commenced in 1999. The principal objective of the Convoy is to provide support for local children with cancer, terminal illness and permanent disabilities, by providing financial assistance to the families of such children with special needs. The Goulburn Convoy for Kids is a registered charity, run by local volunteers, and all funds raised, stay and are distributed within our local community.
The group’s major source of fundraising is the annual street parade/convoy involving trucks and vehicles from the local “trucking” community. In recent years, the event has received wonderful support, with record numbers of entries, record crowds, and record levels of funds being raised
The Convoy will be held in November every year, and will culminate in a day-long carnival at the Recreation Area with many novelty activities and attractions.
Last year, over $30,000 was distributed to local families and organisations, by this charity, and with continued support, Convoy for Kids Goulburn will be able to carry on assisting local kids with special needs.
